Most platforms nickel-and-dime every action. We meter exactly one thing — AI calls — on a monthly quota that resets each month. The rest of the workspace has no counter.
One AI call is a single AI-assisted action — generating, refining, simulating, or asking the assistant. It is counted once, per seat, when the request is made. Actions that count include generation, refine, simulate, risk scoring, the assistant, image QC, the standards finder, and file or paper analysis. Viewing or editing never counts. Lab is 2,000 per seat; allowances are per seat, not a shared team pool.
Storage is the one soft cap that scales by plan (100 MB → 100 GB). It is not a per-action charge.
